Juliane Troicki, Ph.D. is the founder of the Illuminating Project. Juliane partners with companies to retain their most valuable employees and collaborates with organizations to engage communities. A native of Berlin, Germany, Juliane has lived in New York City and Philadelphia before making her home in Wisconsin. When she is not chasing after her four children, her husband and her rescue dog Roy, Juliane enjoys weightlifting and restoring mid-century furniture. Juliane cares deeply about her community and those around her. With Illuminating Whiskers, Juliane learns from others and shares their inspiring stories and lessons.
Christine Peck is a photographer in Fond du lac, Wisconsin. She is author of the photo book “Wisconsin Whiskers” and owner of The Sparkle Studio. Christine is a mom to two dogs, Happy and Gilmore and wife to an amazing creative soul. Empowering her clients through photography is what drives Christine. During her Wisconsin Whiskers book project she photographed 78 men and their unique facial hair. What she emphasized is that men need to take pride in who they are. Through this new project, Illuminating Whiskers she hopes to fulfill that mission!
K&R Ceramics is the collaborative efforts of artists, Kat Hutter and Roger Lee. This
duo met while attending graduate school at Clemson University where Roger
received his MFA in Ceramics, and Kat her MFA in Painting. Both have continued
their own work, while also realizing the dream of creating a body of work together.
K&R have lived in various regions of the United States and now split their time
between Los Angeles, California and Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. All of their
experiences together have gone into creating both the shapes and patterns
represented in their collection of hand-painted ceramics. The work is a collection
of high-fired stoneware, hand-thrown by Roger and hand-painted by Kat.
