The Wisconsin Regional Art Program (WRAP) encourages nonprofessional, student, and emerging artists to create and exhibit their work across Wisconsin.  It is for people who have a serious interest in art, and create art for the love of art.   WRAP originated as an outreach program of UW-Madison, but is now administered by the Association of Wisconsin Artists.  WRAP retains ties with the UW-Madison through an annual AG Hall exhibition of WRAP art and an affiliation with the UW Art Department.

A collaboration between Illuminating Project (Juliane Troicki) and Wisconsin Whiskers and The Sparkle Studio (Christine Peck), Illuminating Whiskers features the photos and stories of 30 remarkable men from across Wisconsin and their facial hair. The illuminated men represent a multitude of backgrounds and life paths.

Men often shy away from taking portraits and from talking about themselves. Juliane and Christine hope to change this with photography and storytelling. Illuminating Whiskers appreciates the men's unique stories and values their experiences. A one-of-a-kind community engagement experience, Illuminating Whiskers will inspire everyone to know their worth.

Many of the whiskered men will be in attendance at the opening event on March 1, 2024 at 6pm at the Thelma Sadoff Center for the arts. Juliane and Christine hope that you will join them to celebrate the inspiring men at the opening event on March 1.
